A WEEK AT THE
4 JUIN 2018
Finally I land at Geneva airport! I'm leaving the plane and an Evian Championship shuttle is waiting for us! Evian was not my first time ... As a reminder, I was 15 years old and Lydia Ko had won the tournament. I wore black rayban glasses, my hair was long and I was a fan of Michelle Wie; let me explain, this is how I got to golf! And this time, it was a first for my blog "female golf", both part for my account and the magazine fairways. The week, I rented an Airbnb for the week, in the National street which is located in the city center: there was all to have fun after the tournaments, bar, restaurant, players, friends, shopping cart ... It is Obviously I will not tell you any nonsense because everything that happens there stays there! To tell you, I have a little scoop! According to the LPGA team and the players, Evian is the second favorite tournament of all after the Austria Open! Indeed, I confirm “Evian is the city of the place to be and the place to do the show! In short, each time I go there, I am overjoyed because I know what it is waiting for me and that I will once again leave with the stars in my eyes!

Having arrived on Sunday evening, I had a good week in front of me ... Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, interview of the players, photo shooting on the course, and video shooting with Ingee chu and Sun yun Park with LG Signature. For the players, it was more training and Pro-Am Rolex. I also had evening parties during the week, Tuesday a cocktail party for the opening evening of 25 years of Evian on the terrace in front of a sunset, Wednesday, the evening of Pro-am Rolex at the Royal Resort, and Friday a Lorena Ochea ceremony with Lindsey Von for the 25th anniversary of Rolex.
Indeed, the week started off divine, and the rest of the week I don't even tell you about it! I spent 7 days, during which every morning, waking up at 6 am / 7 am, I got ready to go to the golf course and I allowed myself a little solo moment to enjoy my coffee on the panoramic terrace of Lake Geneva. At that moment, the morning smells exalted me, the sound of the greenkeeper's machine woke me, the sun beamed on me and the event was revived! I strolled everywhere, I walked and I breathed the pure air, I found people who recognized me, and ended up going around the club house. I love to create little rituals in any city I go to, no matter how long my stay and the hotel; I like innovation. Each morning, it was necessarily a coffee and one thing, I'm not talking about the cocktail but, a little something! One day, the David Ledbetter Academy Manor invited me to stay overnight. I found myself sitting on a terrace facing Lake Lemac and the putting green, and nothing but me and my bowl with yogurt, sprinkled with granola, red fruit, the perfect shot of a small instagramer, finally I would rather say a cocooning setting !
I left alone, but the adventure does not scare me ... I knew I was going to meet people and that I was going to meet friends on Wednesday evening at the Rolex gala. I love the unknown! In fact, I think I really needed these moments of solitude. After the exams, I had a summer job in May and I didn't spend any more time for myself and I really didn't feel well…
Beyond that, the week at the Evian Championship was for me “la vie en rose”!
